Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I slept with a girl who is 15 year old,and I am over 18.I just found out she is pregnant, there are only 3 people know about this me,her and whom ever reads this.Please tell me that what should I do,can her parents file a police report on me,can they put me in jail, can they file any kind of police report against me.I will support her and our kid.Pleas tell me all the worse and good possibilities.I do not want to go to jail and do not want police at my house what so ever.Please help me out here and response ASAP. Other thing is that her family is kind a backward people they will do anything to get rid of her and child they might hurt her and the child,who I am concern about.Would I be able to meet her and child with her permission,or would I need her parents permission.Or can I just bring her to my house and merry her or something because I really love her and would do anything for her.Who will have the custody of the child.I want her, me, and our child to be living together under same roof.what was to be happen is already done and i cannot go back in time and change everythings.please help me.She also loves me and will not say anything against me what so ever under any type of pressure. i want to take care of her and the child.

I'll be frank, it is statutory rape. This is very serious. It will be up to the girl and her parents as to whether there are criminal actions taken against you. You need to consult a criminal lawyer immediately! I do not practice criminal law. Good luck.

Get some counseling at a local resource center. How pregnant is she. If it is early, have you considered an abortion? If not early, and no one wants to prosecute, you probably will be okay. Bill Stern
