how do i respond to being served with divorce papers in the 21 days without a lawyer can i do it myself

The way you respond is very important to the outcome of your divorce, particularly where child support/custody issues exist and could impact your property settlement. If you do not have any of these issues, you may be able to do it yourself. I do not believe anyone should represent themselves in any court except small claims court. I believe those who try to save money by representing themselves are what I call "penny wise and dollar foolish."

The fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe that you're not well qualified to practice law. You could dig yourself into a deep hole that would be VERY expensive to get out of. I recommend that you retain an experienced family law attorney. For additional information to to:
