Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Retirement Funds

What is the exwife entitled to concerning retirement plans, 401k's, and social security? Does it matter if she has remarried or if he has remarried? And if she is entitled to an amount what would that amount be? Does it matter if the child is secondary to the new wife as the sole beneficiary. And also is any part of the new wifes retirement also the exwifes?

Ex wives aren't entitled to anything. Present wives whom you are divorcing may be entitled to a portion of retirement funds. However, this is a complicated issue and should be addressed by your attorney.
