Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

OK So my Ex sister in law got in a wreck with her 3 small kids in the car she was in jail for 4 days But cps took the kids away from her she still doesn't have them She said she wont have any jail time and she is working on getting the kids back in 6 months She has 6 Felony charges on her for D.U.I, Child endangerment, Control Substance and Bringing in a control substance in the jail she has 2 count on that one and Causing injury to a child She still has to go to court for these charges I belive But Do you really think they are not going to give her jail time or take the kids away for good Please Help

Additional information

We are trying to get the kids she has a court date on the 8th to find out what is going to happen to the kids Do you guys think we will have a chance at getting FULL custody of them She has a past history with cps and also her 1st daughter from her 1st marriage she lost her and she FAILED her reunification On that case she lost full custody of her 1st daughter Do you think we have a fighting chance the people we talked to said that it all depends on CPS if they feel she can get help and fix her problems But I just dont see it I want the kids with us so they can have a happy childhood and from what I heard the cps reports are not nice Not sure though I have never seen them

Here is the Codes She is being charge with

PC 273A (a)

VC 23153 (a)

VC 23153

PC 4573

HSC 11375 (B) This one she has 2 counts

The father (My husbands brother) is in jail right now but was given a lawyer to go talk on his behalf since he cant be there and is telling them on the 8th he wants full custody to go to us
