Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My son is being accused of posting a picture of the movie the purge on his instagram account< this movie is about one night a year people can do criminal acts of violence< he is 12 and did not have a complete understanding of what he was posting. There is a Mom at my sons school who felt like this was directed towards her child. never in anyway did my son use her name or anything in his posts. how is she pressing charges? it is true this girl and my son do not get along, however it was not malicious multimedia as he is being charged with
