My son (18 yr old son, 17 yr old mother) is now part of a 'unwanted pregnancy'. He intends to be part of raising a family, but things sometimes change. I would like to know the legal obligation he has. Child support for sure, but how is this calculated? Does any obligation extend to the fathers (my son) family (me and my wife)
My son is planning to start and end college, and take 12 hrs/term. He will not have a strong job for quite a while. He will not be making lots of money. The mother plans to get medicade after the birth, and is still on her parents insurance. If something were to happen to his relationship, how is his legal obligation effected (this is perhaps the same question)
