Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My sons father gets out of prison in a few weeks, He is not on the birth certificate nor has he ever met my son. When he gets out he has to parole to IL, we live in MI. How do I go about getting sole custody and child support?

Your attorney should file a case in the county where you reside. It is better to file it now to get the case rolling immediately.
