Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My son's x girlfriend is pregnant with his child. She has left the state once stating she is going to give the baby up for adoption. My son wants the child. Is their any legal action he can take while she is pregnant to stop her from trying to give up the baby for adoption and his rights as the father
