Spousal Financial Liability

My wife is applying for a personal loan along with her family members. I am not in favor of the loan and do not wish to be a part of it. How can I avoid being held liable for this loan or any other financial dealings of this type. Thank you.

If you do not sign for the loan the bank cannot force you to be responsible for the loan.
