does a spouse have to continue health care coverage while divorce is pending?

I am planning to file for a divorce from my husband in the next few weeks, and outside of him I do not have health care coverage. Is he required to continue to cover me under his health care plan until the divorce is final?

Your attorney will be able to obtain a court order to continue the coverage pending your divorce.
