Spouse returns after 1 year absence seeking financial reimbursement

My husband of 18 months moved out,filed for divorce and left furniture that he had paid for while we were married, taking only the pieces he wanted at that time. He stopped the divorce proceedings but now wants the rest of the furniture as well as money that he feels he spent on furnishing my home. Since he essentially abandoned the stuff, does he have a right to it now? Thank you for your time.
