Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Help with step childre

I am really not sure where to begin, I am a stepmother of 4 children that I love very much, my husband is facing charges from a stepdaughter who was living with his parents, the stepdaughter whose mother passed away felt it would be better this way since the daughter had already been sexually molested and her husband had enough to deal with raising 4 children on his own. Now that he is facing charges what will happen to his children. The charge is CSC in the 1st. The stepdaughter was mad cause we moved downstate from the upper pennsiula and we would not take her with us. we both want the kids to stay with me but are not sure about how the laws work, if he is convicted.

Re: Help with step childre

If he is convicted, he will do time, most likely. When out, it may jeopardize having your children at home. Seek the advice of a local lawyer. Bill Stern
