Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I have a support order in place for arrears in the state of Michigan and I live in Missouri. Which I am fine with because I know I owe the money. I do not owe current it is all arrears. I also pay child support for another child in Missouri. I found out today that I have a warrant that was issued for the Michigan case. I called the Attorney Generals office and the agent said I could pay of the arrears and he will release the warrant or I can go back to Michigan. He did not know I had an order in place until I told him and he looked closer. I do not know what to do! I can pay that large of amount and I can't go back to Michigan for fear I will lose my job.
