Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

support,visitation

I have a ten yr old son. mother and I werent married but I signed for him. Son stays with me nights and I take him to school. Mother and I signed off on support order with local FOC. Mother is now threatning to take me back to court when she cant have her way. My son is with me all night and most weekends (mother works nights and weekends) I want to know if I can be ordered to pay support if son is with me 85-90% of time ? Mother makes more than I do and pays for half of clothing and picks him up from school. There is no formal custody on my son,what should I do?

I have a great idea. How about getting a lawyer? If the child is with you 8 consecutive days, support is generally reduced by 50%. Really, you need a lawyer. Bill Stern
