Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
He is threating to press charges, says its a felony.
During the course of my marriage to my husband ( now ex-husband ) I managed the money and banking. With his permission I often signed his name on his pay checks and deposited them in the bank. We have been divorced now for over a year. He has threatened me that he is going to press charges against me now for forging his name, he says this is a felony charge and also he is going to sue me for the total amount of all the checks I signed. Is this actually a felony? Can he sue me? Did I commit forgery, even with having his permission?

Signing his name with his permission is not wrong. If your ex continues to harrass you or if you are contacted by the polic, phone us at 1 8667665245 BEFORE you speak with the police.
