Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

time limit

I have been divorced 10 years and was wondering if I could still sue my ex for legal costs. Also, I was on welfare for a short while while he paid child support. How do I find out if there is child support that is due me that I did not get when I got off welfare and can I get it.

Re: time limit

No, on the legal costs, yes, on the question of support. The county court that presided over the divorce still has jurisdiction to make findings as to child support. For more info., please contact my office at (248)851-3171.
