Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

what is the time restriction applicable to making a report of sexual misconduct?

What is the statute of limitations in Michigan pertaining

to making a report of an adult male masturbating in

view of a minor step daughter. This act took place and

went unreported several years ago. The adult male

has engaged in severe spousal abuse (convicted once

and within four months of sentencing was once again

arrested and charged with domestic violence. The

violent behavior deterred the, then minor step daughter

from reporting the event. This adult male is the child of

the former deputy attorney general for the state of MI

and that has served to enable him to engage in illegal

activities without consequences. leon cohan is the

father of the sexual deviant who has taken advantage of

the ''professional courtesy'' commanded by leon

cohan. An arrest was made as a result of the

sonattempting to engage the illegal sexual services of

what he thought to be a prositute, when in reality the

female was a decoy for the Detroit Police Dept, Vice

Unit. There is no record of this arrest. Leon Cohan

exercised his power as a respected community leader

to undermine the actions of the Vice Unit. Is a formal

complaint accepted only for a limited time?
