Can I be unadopted from my adopted father?
My read dad left before I was born and when I was two my mom married. My mom and this guy had two kids and when I was seven he adopted me. Now my mom and him are divorced and he lives in another state, is nasty to me, and physically hurts me and I am old enough to make my own decisions. I just want to know if i can be unadopted from him?

If you are being abused let your mother know and contact your school teacher, the police, the Michigan Family Independence Agency, your pastor/priest/rabbi/iman. or any responsible adult. Your safety is of utmost importance. If the absuse is substantiated the process can be started to terminate your father's parental rights. Your mother's as well if she knows of the abuse and refuses to protect you. Get help if you are being abused. Good luck.
