Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I was just wondreing I have a littlle girl who is almost three her father is taking me to court to get her last name changed to his we were never married and she has always had my last name. Is there some kind of law that says i have to change her name?? Second He is in a wheel chair from a drinking and driving accident he has her on tue and thurs one day every other weekend and one night a month but everything has to be supervised by someone he is trying to get every other fri thru sun w no supervision what are the chances a judge would let him be alone w her at this age? Please help!!! Is there any kind of assistants i coulld get to help me w the lawyers fee???
