Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My wife is Indian and she wants to take my 2.5 year old to India . He went a year and a half ago and i dont want him to go this time . I told my wife and she said she can take him if she wants and i cant stop her. Her lawyer had told her this she claims. Yes we are married but not getting along..

Does she have a passport? Children's passports have to be signed off by both parents. If so, then she can take your child. It sounds like you may need divorce assistance and if so, then you can get a court order preventing her from taking the child. http://www.wolverinelaw.com
