abandoned car

I bought a house from a couple that had financial trouble. They left a car at my house. They said they still owed some money on it . They stoped making payments and told the bank to reposess it. It has sat in my driveway for 6 months, and no one has come to get it. Can I report it abandoned and try to get a title for it.

The fact that the car was left at your house is irrelevant. You should report it to the police as an abandoned car. It will be picked up and sold at auction. You can be a bidder, along with anyone else. William S. Stern
