broken promises

my mother gave me my truck.she promised to pay payments until it was payed off,it is financed in her name,there for it could'nt be put in my name until it is payed off. I have had it for a year or ayear and ahalf.she also promished to never take it away from me. The tags say ''suestrk''.she is mad at me and doing everything she can to hurt me .so she called my daughter and said to tell me ''she's coming afterthe truck even if she has to bring the police.In michigan I heard your word is ass good as a legal document?is that true?Do I have any legal rights?can she take it away from me?

If the vehicle title is in your mother's name, she is the owner of the vehicle and can take it any time she wants. The best advice I can give you is to make amends with your mother.
