i got caught shoplifting at meijers in michigan. i took a total of $17 worth of merchandise. i have to pay 10 times the amount i stole back to the store and they told me i have to agree to a diversion program and that i might have to pay up to another $500 to the county. i was wondering if i will for sure have to pay more money to the county?
