Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan
I was charged with possession of marijuana. I happened to have been coming from a video game tournament when I was arrested. The judge gave me a years probation and part of my probation says that I'm not allowed to play a single video game for a year. Playing video games in the tournament scene is a massive part of my life, all of my friends are involved in the tournament scene and its my only real passion. Can he do this? I don't understand why hes allowed to take something like this from me.

I dont understand how it even came up. However a judge can order terms of probation and I think this would be upheld by an appellate court. What does your attorney say?
I agree with the previous answer. The sentence is strange, but within the court's authority.
