Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

using the computer wrong
i ended my 1 yr realationship just about 4 days ago. My former mate left some nasty voice mails that really bothered my daughter. My daughter wanted to see us back together so she went and told my partner and her familynon the internet that there was a accident and people got hurt. She pretended to be my son and not herself so they thought that it was her that was killed in the accident. When I found out a few days later it became a mess. My daughter has sent letters of apologys to everyone and they have excepted. Can they come back a sue me or anything for what mt 12 yr old did. She is a good girl and has never caused no trouble before. She was looking for attention. She did not threaten anyone or cause anyone any harm. She has been punished for this by be but I just dont trust these people that they might legaly do something to me. Can they?
