Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Corporate representation

In a Smalls Claims Case in Michigan, I am representing a corporation as an employee of said corporation and it is permitted. If the case gets moved to General Civil instead of Small Claims will I still be permitted to represent the corporation? This I ask because the Corporation is a seperate entity. I am not a lawyer. I am the majority shareholder and secretary of the Corp.

Re: Corporate representation

If it is moved to general civilo, the corporation will have to get a lawyer. A corporation gets lots of benefits, so this is one detriment. Actually, they are doing you a favor requiring the corp to get a lawyer. William Stern 248-353-9400
