Dog Barking noise Citation & false Police Report

we recently received a citation for harboring a nuicsense dog. ( barking) He barks in the middle of the day when somebody walks by our home he is never left out during the night. I picked up our police reports & they are all from the same neighbor sown the road. one Police report is very false. it stated that our dog was out several times during the wee hours of the morning on 2 different days. those days we had company spend the night (witnesses) they also agree that the police report was wrong. the neighbor called this false incident in to the police 2 days after the alledged incidents occured as an anonomyous caller. what can we do about this false police report?

It is very difficult to do anything about a person who identifies themselves calling the police. However, the police have caller ID. Go have a talk with the chief and explain that this nut keeps calling in false reports. Have the police document the calling number. Then, threaten to prosecute him for calling in false reports.
