Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Dormitory Possession Charge

Hi, I attend a small private college in Michigan. Recently I had 5 other people inside my dorm room when an RA came knocking on my door with a noise complaint. We were not being loud and it was not quiet hours. I let the RA in and she found some alcohol as well as a culligan container full pink lemonade mixed with very little alcohol. No one was charged with drinking, I was charged with possession, supplying to others (it was my room) as well as having a common container of alcohol ( the culligan machine) a $200 charge in itself. No police were involved. I now face a student judicial committee which will decide my fate. What can I possibly do to get the suppyling and common container charges dropped?

Re: Dormitory Possession Charge

Being unfamiliar with student enforcement procedure, I would apologize and volunteer for some activity benefitting the school.

If any of your "other people" would be available to vouch for you, they might be allowed to speak on your behalf.
