Golf ball hit car windshield

I was playing golf at a course in ann arbor and one of my shots hit a car passing by on a road running parallel to the hole. Who is responsible for fixing the windshield?

I don't think that you are responsible. Sometimes things happen without fault. However, if the driver of the vehicle knew that you were golfing in the area, then, knowing your reputation for hitting errant balls, the driver may have assumed the risk of the windshield damage (just joking).
