Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

I have this guy at work who has accused me of stealing from my employer and has made other accusations against me which all have been proven false. The latest thing he has done was to contact the family my wife works for and told them i had made bad statements about there family. do I have any legal grounds?
