Hot Water Heater Installation Damage

Can I get a judgment in small claims court to enforce a written offer to submit a claim for damage which occurred when a hot water heater was installed? The company owner said ''I will be glad to turn it over to my insurance company (not admitting any guilt) and let them decide on it.''

Normally you would make a claim with his insurance company and then resolve that claim for payment without the need for Court. However, insurance companies often take advantage of unrepresented people and proper compensation is never paid. I would be happy to discuss this matter with you. Tim Klisz
