Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Is this illegal?

I e-mailed a letter of complaint to the Board of Directors of our neighborhood association. This letter was then copied and given to a person in our subdivision. He then made 200 copies and put them in everyone in the subdivision. The letter has my e-mail address on it. I would like to now if this is illegal?
