Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Legal question

I have a question. I have received numerous calls on my cell phone and messages that were threatenting from this crazy girl, who is my boyfriends ex. I forwarded texts to her number showing her how much he loves me and not her (stupid I know). Now she says she is going to sue me for harassment. When she is the one who started harassing me. I have my cell phone log pulled and I copied her voice mails to a mini tape recorder. Does she even have a case against me if all I did was forward text messages? I live in Michigan and she lives in Virginia

Re: Legal question

She is not likely going to pursue charges, and even if she filed a complaint, I doubt the prosecutor would pursue charges. And, since she is out of state, she would have to appear here to testify and/or provide an affidavit.

Use it as a learning example - don't put threats in writing including texts and emails (and/or don't make them at all) - as they are around forever (hello, Kwame scandal???)
