Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan
I live in an apartment complex where they require you to have a parking sticker on the front windshield of the car. My parking sticker is on the front windshield of my car. The other day a towing company left a notice saying that my car would be towed if I didnt have a sticker. I disregarded this notice because I do have a sticker in the right location of my car. This morning I wake up and my car is not there, fearing my car was stolen, I called the police station and they informed me that my car had been towed and to where. When I called the towing agency, the receptionist explained to me that the car was towed because I didnt have a parking tag, when I told her I did, she went out to the vehicle and said that try shouldn't have towed the car because the tag is there, but the problem is that they are still asking me to pay $120 for the tow of my car even though she admitted that they are at fault. What should I do?

Talk to your complex, they must have ordered it. Otherwise, pay and sue them in small claims court.
A lawyer could have some fun with this whole thing. I heard of this before and I heard that it resulted in a fairly substantial judgment against the tow truck company. I agree with the other lawyer that the complex bears responsibility, also.
