Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan
In oreder to be brief, I'll leave out the background and get straight to my questions (although I''m pleased to provide any info that you may want).
If a GM auto dealer technician does not follow the repair procedure provided by GM in their service information system, and the repair fails, is he responsible/liable?
Furthermore, if he admits not following the procedure but asserts that "it's standard industry practice" to NOT follow the procedure, does that get him "off-the-hook?"

It all depends on what the judge/jury believes. I think it hurts the tech's credibility to state that it is standard not to follow the standard procedure, which helps your case. Please contact me to discuss in further detail at johntatone.com
