How Can I Get Her To Pay For This Car

My fiancee and I purchased a car together. She put in $1000.00, and I obtained a loan for $2500.00 to purchase the car. The car title went into HER name. A month later she left me for someone else. Can I sue her for the 2-year car loan,($2700.00 with interest) if I can prove she was unfaithful and was only ''using me'' to obtain a vehicle? She claims the car was a ''gift''.
