Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Personal belongings

My fiances bought his house from his mother seven years ago. He has asked her to come get all (and I do mean all) of her belongings several times. She agrees, but never follows through.

Legally, are her belongings now his to get rid of as he wishes?

Oh gee, this is a toughy. I suppose you never thought about gathering up her stuff and taking it over to where she lives.

Each time mom tells you she's coming over to pick it up, she is also putting you on notice that the stuff is hers; not abandoned; and not yours.
