What parts are legal issues?

I was dating someone who gave my phone number to an employee of his to crank call me. Also, his ex girlfreind works for him an she too called me to harass me.

While dating this man I would visit for long weekends. I noticed each time that someone had gone through my luggage. To make a lng story short it ended up being this ex girlfriend. Who threated my life and admitted going through my luggage.

This person I believe stole a new pair of jeans from me. I am no longer dating this man. However, I would like my personal property back. I contacted his brother who is a lawyer about the situation. Also, I have contact the indivdual asking for my personal proerty back. What can I do?

If you believe it is worth your time, effort, and costs (filing fee and service of process), you can file a claim in small claims court (I assume you do not want to hire an attorney at $100+ per hour). Of course, you would have to have some pretty convincing evidence that this person actually took your personal property. Otherwise, chalk it up to a learning experience, and move on.
