Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

recently i recieved a letter from a law firm stating i was harassing a one of there clients but come to find out the law firm does not represent this client and has never heard of the person. the letter was wrote by the law firms secretary using the law firms letter head. do i have a harassment suit aganist this law firm.

Chances are you do not have a case against the firm. They are not responsible for the criminal acts of an employee. However, you do have a case against the secretary. However, it may not be worth much.

You might have a grievance against the lawyers as well, that an agent of theirs was acting inappropriately.

Given the substance of your post (none), you'd have a better time coating yourself with honey and getting staked to an anthill instead of suing a law firm.

You see the word "harassment" is not a fact. It is, instead, a conclusion or impression that you create in your mind in response to a fact situation. You revealed no facts either about your harassment or the harassment stated in the letter.

Just because someone hurt your feelings doesn't mean you get to sue them.
