relationship breakup

My girl friend and i broke up recently, i bought her a laptop the previous x mas and when we broke up i got it back now she says she is going to take me to court about the laptop i bought i have a receipt where i had purchased it i need to know what could happen in that situation.

Sorry, you're in the wrong. Give it back or you could be in big trouble. Since you gave it to her, it's hers.

Not only can she sue you, she may also get you charged criminally.
