Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

school lawsuit

Can I sue a school district for an incident involving my son and a teacher in which she placed her hands on him, pushed him into a wall, causing him to hit his back and head. We did not file a police report and I did not take him to see a doctor.It occurred 1 week ago.
