Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

I sold my old car do my exboyfriend and I have text messages saying that he owes me money for the car but none of them say how much. I want to take him to small claims court will my text messages be enough evidence? Also he owes my money for utilities I have text messages saying that he will pay that also.

Your post didn't include the total amount he owes. You need to put the exact amount in your small claims complaint. Bring the printouts of your texts to the court on the hearing date. Visit your court to get the small claims form.
