Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

My space private information

I have a myspace site and have the first name of a former friends minor child in a blog on my myspace. She sent me a message demanding that I remove the child's name from my myspace page or she would involve the authorities. Is there anything that she can legally do to me for having her child's first name on my myspace? There is no other personal information on there about the child. She is also threatening to sue me for slander or libel for making a parody story about her on my myspace. I didn't use her real name, and I don't even have my real name on the myspace parody page. Can she sue me for libel? Everything on there is not true, and her name is not on there, but it's implied that it's her to others who know her.

Re: My space private information

The lack of candor in your post is glaringly obvious. If you continue to make your "former friend" miserable with this libelous (i.e. untrue) posting, you unlawfully intend to inflict emotional distress upon her - for which you can be sued along with the libel.
