Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan
Hello.
Today Thursday at 5:15p at Krogers grocery store on 3200 Carpenter Rd in Ypsilanti, MI. I walked in the store for five minutes. There was a free sample area giving away free donuts. I waited in line and a employee took a free sample and then I took a free sample. I walked ten feet and was confronted by the "store manager" Dale, Dan, or Dave. He asked my "did I pay for that donut?" I replied "No,I got this from the f....in free sample section over there" He said "dont cuss me out" and grabbed my backpack I was wearing. He stated "you disrespectful little shit" " Leave the store and I will show you when we leave the store" I thought okay, We left the store and was threatened. I left and walked 600 yards away and called the store (customer service) I talked to a lady and asked for the store manager, I asked for the store managers name, he took the phone from here and said "Dean Espinoza, I would leave if I were you I called the police and there coming." I was wearing a name badge with my name and picture. I am concerned because if this "store manager is stupid enough to press false charges" I will obtain a lawyer and fight it and have to turn around and sue The Kroger Co. in civil court for attorney fees. I want to sue for mental anquish and distress or pain and suffering. Thank you for reading this and I appreciate any advice and response you can give me.

Let's hope the manager is not "stupid" and leave well enough alone. If I was you, I would not shop in that store again.
