vehicle titles

can i take the secondary name off a vehicle title if i am the primary holder of the title and registration without having the secondary person present at the DMV?

You can take a person off the title simply by having them execute the title as if the two as joint owners of the vehicle were selling the vehicle to you as the single owner of the vehicle. Beware! You may be responsible for 3% sales tax at the time you effect this transfer of title.
