Legal Question in Health Care Law in Michigan
Hospital bill
I have a 17 daughter who will be 18 in June and she is on her own. Completely... She sliped and needed stiches and now the hospital wantes to charge me.. We didn't sign for any nor did we autherizes the hospital. She has insurance through the state under her adoption profile until she 18.
Am I liable to pay for this?

If your daughter is not legally emancipated, you are responsible for her bill if insurance doesn't cover it.
