Legal Question in Health Care Law in Michigan

medical malpractice

We were referred to a physical therapist who said he participated with our ins. co. They even photocopied our card. We ended up with the bill because our ins. co. did not participate. Are we still responsible since they lied to us?

You should be able to send the bill to the insurance company for reimbursement. Explore those options, --this is not really a legal question. Don't assume they lied,--assume an honest mistake has been made and you'll get further.
