Hi, I would need more information to see if you qualify for any programs to legalize your status. Dear Sir or Madam: you have been in the U.S. about 21 years you say -- did you never take advantage of the early amnesty programs or anything? The only possibility of your obtaining any legal status is that you return to Mexico and enter the country legally. If your children are 21 years old or over, one of them may petition for you as the parent of a U.S. citizen. You would not be subject to the quota because you would be an immediate relative -- an approved petition and a waiver for your unlawful presence would help you return to the U.S. There are other scenarios that need to be checked, and better done with a consultation.
