Legal Question in Immigration Law in Michigan

Immigration Laws

I am a singer in a rock alternative group, who joined forces with a guitarist in Kyoto, Japan. Together we formed a 2 man band, via the internet, and have been gaining some attention, and selling CD's... However we have never met. We have reached the time where we need to be together to work on music, promote our music, and do live shows. We want him to move here so we are able to work on our music career, but immigration laws are tough and confusing, let alone expensive. My questions is: How can we get him here to live with me in Michigan permanently so he doesn't have to go back to japan every 90 days? Can I adopt him as family or as a brother? Can he be here to work with me? Should he marry our female bassist who lives in portland oregon? What is our best option?

Re: Immigration Laws

There is a way for your friend to come to the U.S. to pursue the music career with you. There are o and p visas that he might be able to obtain but more information is needed.

You may find information on entertainment-based visas here:

However, it's probably easiest if you call my office for a consultation to discuss specific options in greater detail.
