Legal Question in Immigration Law in Michigan

overstayed f-1 visa need help

Hi, I have overstayed my student visa since 99. Is there process I could take to legalize my status? I'm have no criminal record and holds a master's degree from a known public university. Consider the time and financial burden, am I better off just leave the country? your advice is sincerely appreciated.

Since you overstayed your visa for a long time, it seems there are not a lot of revenues for you to legalize your status. Marrying a US citizen is one way to make your status legal again.

This is quite a complicated question that will depend on several factors. There might be a way to stay or a way to leave and return almost immediately but in order for us to determine that we have a few things we would need to know such as when was the actual I-94 expiration date, what is your degree in ? do you have a job offer? are there family members in the U.S.? What are you desired goals for the future? I suggest that you contact us to make an appointment by calling 248 619 0065. Thank you, Caridad Pastor
